We invite abstracts for oral and poster presentations advancing open science, transparency, reproducibility, and research innovation.
We invite the community to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations at the 2nd Canadian Open Science Conference.
Submission Guidelines
- Abstracts must be a maximum of 300 words, excluding title and author information.
- Each presenting author may submit a maximum of one abstract.
- There is no limit on the number of co-authored abstract submissions.
- The presenting author must indicate whether they would like their abstract to be considered for an oral presentation, a poster presentation, or both formats.
- Abstracts may be submitted in English or French.
- Only complete submissions received by the deadline will be reviewed.

Recommended structure:
- I. Objective
- II. Methods
- III. Results
- IV. Conclusion
Disclosure Requirements
Work that has not been recently completed may receive lower priority.
Review Process
All submissions will undergo peer review by the Scientific Program Committee. Abstracts are rated on relevance, significance, clarity and structure, and methodological rigor. The Co-Chairs will determine the final presentation format. All decisions are final.
Presentation Formats
- Oral presentations: 10 minutes plus 5 minutes for questions.
- Poster presentations: Displayed during the designated poster session. Dimensions and instructions will be communicated to accepted presenters.

Abstract submissions will be completed through the OJS submission portal. Please register for an account or log in, then select Submissions from the navigation menu to begin your abstract submission.
