Conference Location
The 2nd Canadian Open Science Conference (COSC 2026) will take place at the CRX Building (Advanced Research Complex) at the University of Ottawa, located in the heart of Canada’s capital city.
The CRX building is a modern research and innovation facility designed to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge exchange. Its state-of-the-art conference spaces, lecture halls, and collaborative areas make it an ideal venue for bringing together researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and students from across Canada and around the world to discuss and advance open science.
The venue is centrally located on the University of Ottawa campus and is within walking distance of downtown Ottawa, major hotels, restaurants, and public transit.

Accessiblity
Accessible permit holders issued by the Ministry of Transportation (Ontario) must contact Parking and Sustainable Transportation to gain access to accessible parking spaces on campus.
- Four (4) accessible parking spaces are available on University Private between the south side of Montpetit Hall (MNT) and the north side of CRX.
- Three (3) accessible parking spaces are available on Louis-Pasteur Private on the west side of 141 Louis-Pasteur Private (LPR).
- Four (4) accessible parking spaces are available off Thomas More Private in Brooks Parking Garage, 100 Thomas-Moore.
- Two (2) accessible parking spaces are available in the corner parking lot between LPR and 100 Marie-Curie.
- Enter the 1st floor of CRX through the doors off Louis-Pasteur Private on the southeast corner of the building.
- Enter the 1st floor of CRX through the door off University Private on the north side of the building.
- Enter through the 1st floor of LMX by corridor 101F.
- Enter through the 2nd floor of LMX by corridor 200H.
- Enter through the 3rd floor of LMX by corridor 300D.
- Enter through the 4th floor of LMX by corridor 458.
- Enter through the 1st floor ancillary service of LMX by corridors 105C and 105.
- Enter through the 2nd floor of MNT by corridor 200G.
- Enter through the 3rd floor of MNT by corridor 300H.
