Reproducibility and Responsible Research Assessment
Assessing researchers in ways that recognize and promote a diverse range of scholarly activities beyond publication counts or journal impact factors is essential to incentivize the adoption of rigorous reproducibility practices. In response to growing interest in the intersection between responsible research assessment (RRA) and reproducibility, the Canadian Community of Practice on Responsible Research Assessment was launched. The Community is hosting a Fall 2025 virtual speaker series featuring timely and transformative discussions on research assessment, impact, and open science.
